¿How much is an explanatory explainer video?
If you are unfamiliar with the explanatory video, videos are no more than 1 minute and a half, that explain and promote a company, product or service (you can find plenty of examples in our work). For our purposes here, we are talking about a 60-second animated video. As you probably expected, you can find a wide range of prices out there, anywhere from 300 € to 600 €. However, if you want a professional and high quality product, prices will range from € 1,500 to € 10,000. The stipulated amount depends on a variety of factors, including the quality of the work, customization and detail. The difference between the first video offered for 600 € and 1500 € video, is easy.
¿Differences between a offered video of 600 € to € 1,500?
Blinded by the rush for cheap, you do not realize that the video that will deliver possibly already have over 1,000 people, they work based on a template (predefined product that allows some minor modifications).

Step 1: Analysis and Writing (Week 1): A well-written script is the basis for a great video. But it takes time for us to fully understand your business, product, idea or service to summarize in 150 words. Do not forget that every story requires an original creative direction and their respective client approval, which can take time for all parties to reach a final agreement.
Step 2: Style and illustration (Week 1): In most cases, all the characters and the assets of a video are illustrated by hand. During the style stage, the illustrator will create some variations of characters and assets to show the client. In this process some time is required for final approval.
Step 3: Storyboard (week 2): With the final script and the selected style, the illustrator creates a storyboard. The storyboard is a representation, scene by scene video static in its final form.
Step 4: Speech (Week 3): Following the screenplay and storyboard, the professional speaker selected by the customer makes recording voiceovers.
Step 5: Animation (weeks 4-5): Animation is the process more intensive and takes time. At this point, the entertainer artwork manipulates and modifies all finished items. Decomposes the characters layered to assemble the setup of the character. This point is very necessary to properly animate characters and elements. Then all elements are imported into layers to Adobe After Effects (AE). Once in AE, the animator spend hours assembling the components and making all the moves and animations . No button “Auto-Animate” … yet. Cameras and lighting to help create 3D depth to layers and thus provide spectacular video and get the viewer attention.
Step 6: Music and sound effects (week 6): Last but not least, a sound engineer mixes the sound together, including music, voiceovers, and sound effects. Nothing ruins a video that a poor sound quality, so never underestimate the importance of a professional voiceovers, music track and sound effects. Conclusion: So there you have it. If it seems a lot of work, it is. And that does not even include the many hours of meetings, calls, emails, reviews, interpretations, files and more. However, the investment is worth it because you just offering your potential customers an attractive, relaxed and in many cases funny message, helping to attract and empathize.
